Works for most people

The Play Store runs in a sandbox if you want it, and the overwhelming majority of Android apps behave normally — messaging, maps, streaming, email, social, ride-hailing, shopping.

Check these yourself

A minority of banking and payment apps refuse to run on a modified OS, and Google Wallet tap-to-pay does not work at all. If your bank app is essential, test it before ordering.

If it does not suit you

Send it back within 30 days for a refund. That sits on top of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which we do not limit.

Choose free USPS tracked delivery and we pay the US import duty ourselves — nothing to settle on the doorstep — typically 3–7 working days from the UK. In a hurry? UPS Express lands in 1–4 working days, but that service is duty-unpaid: US Customs bills the recipient directly.

Will my banking app work?

Some do, some do not — it depends on the bank. GrapheneOS does not pass every integrity check, so a minority of banking and payment apps refuse to launch, and Google Wallet tap-to-pay does not work. Check yours before ordering; if it is a dealbreaker we would rather tell you now than take the order.

Is it hard to use day to day?

No. It looks and behaves like Android, because it is Android — just without Google services running by default. You can add the Play Store in a sandbox if you want it.

What is the warranty?

12 months with PrivacyPortal on the hardware, plus your 30-day right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Unlocking the bootloader ends the manufacturer's own cover, which is exactly why we back the device ourselves.

How long does delivery take?

Dispatch in 1–3 working days, then free tracked delivery. US orders go by USPS with the import duty paid by us. Express is available at checkout and is duty-unpaid.

Are these new or used?

Refurbished unless stated otherwise. Every one is bench-tested to the same standard; the condition grade describes cosmetic wear only.

Can I go back to stock Android?

Yes. The bootloader stays unlockable and you can reflash Google's own factory image whenever you like. It is your phone.
