Common questions

Quick answers, with links to the full policies.

My phone is faulty. What should I do?

Email faulty@privacyportal.co.uk with your order number, a clear description of the problem, photos or a screen recording, and the date you first noticed it.

If you report a fault within 30 days of delivery you can reject the item for a full refund, and we pay the return postage. After that, your rights are set out in section 3 of our refund policy.

How do I return something?

Every return needs an RMA number first. Email support@privacyportal.co.uk (or faulty@privacyportal.co.uk for a fault) with your order number, the product and the reason. We’ll reply with your RMA number, the correct return address and a return form.

Please don’t send items to our registered office without an RMA number. Customised builds and completed remote services have different cancellation rules, which are explained in the refund policy.

Where is my order?

Once your order is despatched you’ll get a shipment confirmation email with the carrier and tracking number. Tracking can take a few hours to become active. You can also check on our order tracking page.

Will I have to pay customs or import charges?

United States: FREE USPS Tracked (Royal Mail) has nothing to pay on delivery. UPS Express to the US is Delivered Duty Unpaid, so UPS may collect import charges from you.

Other countries outside the UK: orders ship Delivered Duty Unpaid, so any import duty, tax or carrier fee is paid by the recipient. See our shipping policy for the details.

Is my phone covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?

We’re an independent retailer, not a Google authorised reseller, and modifying a phone can void or limit the manufacturer’s warranty. Your statutory rights against us are not affected.

If a Pixel ever needs a Google repair, it can be flashed back to stock and the bootloader re-locked first. Whether Google accepts the repair is Google’s decision.

Can I phone you?

0115 772 0519 is a WhatsApp number only, so please message us on WhatsApp rather than calling. For a fault, a return or a refund, email is best because it gives us a written record we can act on.
