Keeping the jailbreak available after the first week

Re-signing means reinstalling the free Relaxin app with a signing tool so Apple accepts it again. You need a Windows or Mac computer, a cable, and an Apple ID. There is no cost.

• Download Relaxin only from relaxin.owngoal.dev — it is free and it is the only official source.
• Sideload it with a tool such as Sideloadly. With a free Apple ID the app is good for another 7 days; with a paid Apple Developer account (about £99/year, optional and nothing to do with us) it lasts a year at a time.
• Then re-open Relaxin and re-apply as usual.
• If your handset ships on iOS 17.0 exactly, there is a permanent alternative: TrollStore installs Relaxin with no certificate and nothing to renew. It does not work on 17.0.1 or later, which is why it is not the default.

Why this iPhone 13 Pro qualifies

• Silicon: A15 Bionic — the developers’ published requirement is A15 or newer (the SPTM devices). This device is in scope.
• Firmware: supplied on iOS 17.0 – 17.3.1, the only versions Relaxin supports. We confirm the installed version before dispatch and state it on your invoice.
• Not supported today: A12–A14 devices (iPhone XS through iPhone 12) use PPL rather than SPTM. Only experimental PPL code ships in this build; the team has said support for older silicon is planned, but it is not working today.

Do not let it update iOS

Eligibility depends on the installed iOS version, not the model name. Apple no longer signs any iOS 17 build, so a device updated past 17.3.1 cannot be brought back — by us or by anyone. An accidental update permanently ends the jailbreak on that handset. We ship with automatic updates turned off and include guidance on keeping them off. No iPhone newer than the 15 series ever shipped with iOS 17, so no newer model can be eligible at all.

What we do before it ships

• 70-point bench test — screen, battery health, cameras, mics, speakers, charging, radios and sensors, checked by hand and logged.
• Relaxin v0.3.4 installed, the jailbreak applied, and both verified working before the handset is packed.
• Installed iOS version verified and recorded, left on 17.x, automatic updates off.
• Shipped clean — no accounts, no profiles, nothing of ours left on it.

Honest limitations

• Relaxin is a public beta by OwnGoal Studio, a free third-party project we did not write. There is no independent press testing of it yet, and only a handful of public reports of it working — mostly on iPhone 15-series hardware.
• Any iOS update removes the jailbreak, and so does restoring the device.
• Some banking and DRM apps refuse to run on a jailbroken device. Check the apps you depend on before you buy — and note you can leave it un-applied after a reboot if you need a clean device that day.
• Jailbreaking voids Apple’s own warranty. Ours is unaffected — see below.
