This handset ships on iOS 17.0 exactly, the one firmware where Relaxin can be installed through TrollStore. TrollStore signs the app permanently, so unlike the standard listing there is no 7-day Apple certificate to re-sign and nothing that lapses. Install it once, keep it.
iOS 17.0 units are genuinely scarce. Apple no longer signs any iOS 17 build, so a device cannot be put back onto 17.0 — the only eligible units are ones that have sat on it untouched since release. That scarcity is what this listing costs more for.
Still semi-untethered — read this bit
Permanent signing is not the same as a permanent jailbreak. Relaxin is semi-untethered, so every reboot still returns the handset to stock until you re-open the Relaxin app and tap once. The difference here is that the app will always open, indefinitely, with no computer and no re-signing involved.
Why this iPhone 14 Pro Max qualifies
- Silicon: A16 Bionic — the developers’ published requirement is A15 or newer (the SPTM devices). This device is in scope.
- Firmware: supplied on iOS 17.0 specifically, verified before dispatch and stated on your invoice. 17.0 is the only build TrollStore supports.
- Not supported today: A12–A14 devices use PPL rather than SPTM. Only experimental PPL code ships in this build.
Do not let it update iOS
An update ends this permanently. Apple no longer signs iOS 17, so a device updated past 17.0 cannot be brought back — by us or by anyone — and it also loses the TrollStore route entirely. We ship with automatic updates turned off and include guidance on keeping them off.

- Some banking and DRM apps refuse to run on a jailbroken device. Check the apps you depend on before you buy.
- Jailbreaking voids Apple’s own warranty. Ours is unaffected — see below.
