How is the correct DerpFest build selected?

The compatible build is matched to the exact advertised model and device codename shown in the listing.

What is checked before a DerpFest phone is dispatched?

Software and setup choices

Installed OS: DerpFest Android for OnePlus Nord 2T. The operating system is prepared for the exact supported hardware target, replacing the manufacturer’s standard Android interface.
Root choices: Magisk / KernelSU / APatch / No Root, where offered for the selected build. Root-manager support depends on this device’s kernel and the exact ROM build. Choosing No Root does not remove Google apps or relock the bootloader.
Google apps: Official DerpFest releases include Google apps; the project does not offer an official Google-free version. Any Google-free setup would require a separately verified compatible build. Hiding bundled Google apps does not make a Google-free operating system.

Bootloader state

The bootloader remains unlocked with this custom-ROM configuration. Choosing No Root does not relock it. Do not relock the bootloader unless the project explicitly documents a safe procedure for the exact signed build and device.

Compatibility to check before ordering

Manufacturer camera processing, eSIM, calling features, DRM playback and accessories can behave differently from stock firmware. Check any essential feature against the linked device guide; a hardware feature in the specification is not proof that the ROM implements it.
Banking, payment, work-profile, streaming and game apps may reject a modified device or depend on Google services. Play Integrity, DRM quality and future app compatibility are not guaranteed by root, a custom ROM or a bootloader setting.

Updates and support

The project’s updater record for corvette, checked on 2 October 2026, identifies v16.2 dated 15 March 2026 as an official Beta build. This is a published build reference, not a guarantee of the installed version or continuing monthly updates.

Use the installed ROM’s updater only for a compatible same-device release. Read the maintainer’s instructions before changing Android versions or switching between Google-free and Google-apps builds; a clean flash and data wipe may be required. Check root-manager and kernel compatibility before updating.

Condition and what is included

Preloved / Used: previously owned and function-tested; visible cosmetic wear may be present.

The selected device, the software preparation described here and protective packaging. A mains charger, charging cable, case, stylus, dock or other accessory is included only if expressly listed or added to your order. Third-party paid apps, accounts and subscriptions are separate.
