How a remote session works — booked by you, 20 to 60 minutes
- Check out. Nothing is shipped and there is nothing to post.
- Book your slot. You get an email with a private booking link within a few minutes. Slots show in UK time with your own time zone alongside, from 12 hours ahead to three weeks out.
- Choose how we connect. AnyDesk or TeamViewer, your pick. You get a calendar invite straight away and reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before.
- We do the work, live. We talk you through it, unlock the bootloader and install what you ordered. Most sessions take 20 to 60 minutes.
- We check it boots and show you what has changed before we finish.

Before you book: Android root and custom ROMs — it erases the phone
- OEM Unlocking must be available in Developer Options. Greyed out or missing means the device cannot be unlocked.
- Unlocking the bootloader erases the phone, and so does installing GrapheneOS, CalyxOS or LineageOS. That is how Android is designed, not a choice we make — back up first.
- Keep the phone charged or on charge throughout.
- We work with Magisk, KernelSU, SukiSU, LSPosed, custom kernels and recoveries such as TWRP. Magisk by default; say at booking if you want something specific.
Before you book: iPhone jailbreak — check your iOS version first
What is possible depends on the chip, not just the iOS version. Current as of Dopamine 3.0.9 and palera1n:

iPhone 15 owners, read this first. The 15 shipped with iOS 17.0, so 17.0 to 17.3.1 is the entire window there has ever been for it, and Apple does not let you go back down. If yours has already updated past 17.3.1 it cannot be jailbroken by us or anyone else. Check Settings → General → About before you order.
- A Windows PC with at least 10 GB free, and a Lightning cable. USB-A is much safer than USB-C, which often will not hold an iPhone in DFU mode.
- iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X only: your passcode has to stay off while the phone is jailbroken, and on iOS 16 the phone must be erased before we start.
- We work with Dopamine, palera1n and TrollStore. Tell us what you want to run and we will say what is achievable on your exact model.
After the session: updates, and apps that check for root — what changes day to day
GrapheneOS, CalyxOS and LineageOS ship their own updates and you carry on taking them as normal. On a rooted stock ROM a system update will usually remove root, and it needs reapplying afterwards.
Some banking, streaming and anti-cheat apps check device integrity and may refuse to run on a rooted phone, or stop working after a future update. We will tell you honestly what is realistic for your device, but nobody can guarantee a specific third-party app will keep working.
What we cannot do — Samsung U/U1, Xiaomi, iPhones past the window
We would rather turn work away than take your money for something that will not work.
- Samsung models ending in U or U1 (US carrier variants) and any Samsung on One UI 8 have no OEM unlocking switch at all. If yours turns out to be one of these we will tell you and refund you.
- Any iPhone on an iOS version outside the table above. The commonest disappointment is an iPhone 12 or newer on iOS 17.4 or later — there is no public jailbreak for it, and no amount of paying for one changes that. iPhone 16 is not on our list at all.
- Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO are not covered by any of our services.
- No carrier unlocking, no iCloud or activation-lock removal, no FRP bypass — nothing that gets around a device's ownership protections.
- Rooting normally voids the manufacturer warranty. PrivacyPortal covers the hardware for 12 months instead.
