Collection: De-Googled Privacy Phones

Phones that run without Google: GrapheneOS, CalyxOS and /e/OS handsets installed, updated and tested in the UK, so you switch on and start private.

De-Googled phones for sale, ready to use

A de-Googled phone runs a privacy-focused operating system in place of the Google build it shipped with, so no Google account, no Play Services running in the background and no telemetry you did not choose. Every phone in this collection arrives with that operating system already installed, updated to the current release and checked before dispatch. There is nothing to flash and no bootloader to unlock: switch it on, set a PIN and start using it.

Three operating systems are represented here. Open a product page to see the exact model, the OS it runs and the storage, colour and condition choices currently offered for it.

Which privacy OS should you choose?

GrapheneOS is the strongest option and runs only on Google Pixel phones. It keeps verified boot with the bootloader re-locked, hardens the whole system, and lets you install Google Play inside a sandbox on a separate profile if a particular app needs it. Pick this if privacy and security come first and you are happy with a Pixel.

CalyxOS also targets Pixels and trades a little of that hardening for convenience: microG stands in for Google services, so more apps work out of the box without a Google account. A good middle ground for a first privacy phone.

/e/OS runs on Murena, Fairphone, CMF and selected other handsets as well as Pixels. It is the most familiar to use, with its own app store, cloud account and microG built in. Pick this if you want the widest choice of hardware or a phone that feels closest to stock Android.

Not sure? Our comparison of GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, LineageOS and stock Android walks through the differences, and the guide on banking apps on GrapheneOS covers the question we get asked most.

How each phone is prepared

  • The operating system is installed by us and updated to the current build before the phone is packed.
  • On Pixels running GrapheneOS or CalyxOS the bootloader is re-locked after installation, so verified boot stays on.
  • Hardware is checked and the handset is graded New, Like New or Preloved; the grade and the storage and colour on offer are shown on each product page.
  • Every phone is tested before dispatch and sent with tracked shipping. The standard service is free in the UK and internationally; faster options are shown at checkout.

Prices, conditions and delivery

Prices depend on the model, storage and condition you choose. New is sealed or unboxed-new stock, Like New is near-flawless, and Preloved shows visible cosmetic wear at a lower price. Preparation and dispatch timing varies by product and is stated on each listing, and our returns policy applies to every order.

Privacy phone FAQs

Do banking apps work on a de-Googled phone?

Most do. On GrapheneOS you install them through the sandboxed Google Play option; on CalyxOS and /e/OS they run against microG. A small number of banks refuse to run without full Google services, so check the banking app guide for your bank before ordering.

Can I still use WhatsApp, Signal and everyday apps?

Yes. Signal, WhatsApp, maps, email and most everyday apps install from the Play sandbox, the Aurora Store or F-Droid depending on the OS, and work as normal.

Which is the most private phone you sell?

A Google Pixel running GrapheneOS. It has the strongest security model of any phone we prepare and is the one we recommend when privacy is the main reason for buying.

Do you sell used privacy phones?

Yes. Like New and Preloved listings are pre-owned handsets that have been checked and graded; the condition is stated on the product page and reflected in the price.

Will the phone keep getting updates?

Updates come over the air from the operating system project itself, not from us. Support periods are model-specific: check the support information on the product page and the project's official device table before choosing a model.
