PrivacyPortal Ltd is an independent UK retailer and installation service specialising in privacy-focused and rooted Android devices. The company was incorporated in England and Wales on 1 June 2023 and trades from Nottingham.
What we do
We sell smartphones — primarily Google Pixel, OnePlus and Samsung handsets — supplied new, like new, or preloved, with a privacy-focused operating system installed and configured before dispatch. Depending on the device, that may be GrapheneOS, LineageOS, CalyxOS, Kali NetHunter, or a rooted stock Android build using Magisk, KernelSU or APatch. We also offer installation and remote setup services for devices you already own.
Every device is checked and configured by hand before it leaves us, so it arrives ready to use without requiring the customer to unlock a bootloader or use a command line.
What we are, and what we are not
PrivacyPortal Ltd is an independent retailer. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any of the operating system projects or device manufacturers whose products we work with — including the GrapheneOS project, Google, Samsung, OnePlus and Apple. We install freely available open-source software onto hardware we have lawfully purchased, and we state this plainly rather than implying a partnership that does not exist.

We trade through this website and through eBay, where our feedback history is publicly visible. We are independently rated on Trustpilot.
Buying with confidence
All sales are covered by UK consumer law. Our Returns Policy sets out your statutory rights in full, including the 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods and a cancellation window that we voluntarily extend beyond the statutory minimum.
