- A visible crease down the centre of the inner screen is normal on every book-style foldable, including a brand new one. It is a characteristic of the design, not a fault or a sign of damage.
- The inner display is a soft plastic laminate, not glass. It marks more easily than a normal phone screen and should never be pressed with a fingernail or a stylus that is not designed for it.
- The factory-applied screen protector on the inner display should be left in place. Removing it can damage the panel.
Choosing a condition
- New: brand new and unused. The box is opened for one reason only — the handset must be powered on and connected to a computer to unlock the bootloader and install the root setup. It has never been used as a phone.
- Like New: excellent cosmetic condition. Any marks are light and hard to spot at normal viewing distance, and the outer screen is free of noticeable scratches. Fully tested and cleaned before dispatch.
- Preloved: our best-value tier. A fully working, fully tested handset that has had a previous life and will show visible signs of use — scratches, scuffs or marks are normal at this grade. Because this is a brand new model, a Preloved order may be fulfilled with a higher-grade or even a brand new unit at no extra cost to you. You will never receive worse than the grade you paid for.
The inner-screen crease described above is present on all units regardless of grade.
- This phone is rooted. Root is what makes location simulation possible, but it also means some apps detect the modification and refuse to run — most banking apps, contactless payment via Google Wallet, and some streaming services.
- Using location-simulation tools may breach the terms of service of the games or apps you use them with, and can result in action against your account. That risk sits with you as the account holder, so please make your own decision before buying.
- Do not accept a system or OTA update. An official update will typically remove root and stop the setup working until it is re-flashed.
- We set the device up and test it before dispatch, but we cannot control changes made by app or game developers after you receive it.
Network
Sold unlocked, but your carrier decides what actually works. 5G band support varies by region — a UK model will not carry every band used by carriers in the US, Canada or Australia — and calling may require VoLTE. Ask us for the IMEI before buying if you want to check it against your network.
