Dopamine 3 vs Cheapamine 3: which download do you need?
Dopamine is the upstream rootless, semi-untethered jailbreak project. Its device and firmware coverage is broader than the single configuration supported by this Cheapamine 3 build. If you are researching a general Dopamine 3 jailbreak, consult the upstream project's compatibility information and official download link.
Cheapamine 3 builds on Dopamine and Cheapamine, with selective restart behaviour and automatic package-manager registration. Its R4.1 release is labelled a pre-release. Use the PrivacyPortal release page for this build, including its source and release notes.
Download Cheapamine 3 R4.1 and install the IPA
Download the IPA for installation; the source archive is for developers. R4.1 also fixes an R4 setup regression that could display error 13 at “Initializing Protection”. If that happened, restart normally before trying R4.1. When updating an existing installation, retain the same signing account and bundle identifier. Download R4.1 and read the update instructions.
One installation option is Sideloadly, available for Windows and macOS:
- Download Sideloadly from its official site and follow its platform requirements.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer by USB.
- Load the IPA into Sideloadly and select your device.
- Sign in with your Apple account and complete the installation prompts.

What to do if your iPhone 8 Plus screen stops responding
If touch input is frozen and you cannot restart normally, use the button sequence in Apple's force-restart instructions:
- Quickly press and release Volume Up.
- Quickly press and release Volume Down.
- Hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears, then release it.
Once the phone restarts, check whether touch responds before attempting another jailbreak. If the problem continues, record the last action you performed so the behaviour can be investigated.
